Hello. I'm Nicole. I'm an interior designer based in Whitby, North Yorkshire, and I've spent seventeen years designing and helping build spaces, most of them in London, all of them with more personality than they started with.

I grew up around here, then went south to train: an interior design degree at Kingston, then four years in a London architecture practice. I wasn't there to make things look nice. I was preparing planning applications, working through building regulations, producing the technical drawings that turn an idea into something a builder can actually build. I've carried that into everything since. It's why my projects run on time and on budget: I know what's behind the walls, what the council will ask, and what things really cost.

After that came London design studios, a few years leading the design team at RoomLab, and a long run of my own projects: family homes, extensions, a Harley Street clinic, a Caribbean villa. In 2025 I came home to the North Yorkshire coast. Now I design homes across the North and hotels and businesses anywhere.

On the colour. I don't have a house style I apply to people. I listen first, then push you a bit braver than you'd have gone on your own. The brief is always the same underneath: a space that's properly you, that works for the life you actually live. Kids, dogs, Tuesday nights and all.
